About the Tour

London’s streets are teeming with life, but beneath the surface, you’ll find a graveyard of gruesome and ghoulish stories. On this walking tour, you’ll see more than just the city’s most haunted house on Berkeley Square.

The tour starts outside the London Marriott Hotel County Hall. From there you’ll cross Westminster Bridge and learn all about the famed séances of the 1800s. While passing the Palace of Westminster, you’ll learn how to kill a king in the 1600s. You’ll also hear what Big Ben was sometimes used for, and see several royal palaces at the Mall.

As you lurk around the dark corners of St James’s neighbourhood, I’ll tell you the city’s darker stories and share its royal and historical roots too. Along the way, you’ll also:

  • Hear about the ghosts that are said to haunt Westminster Palace
  • Find out about the paranormal patrons that might be lurking beneath St James’s Park Lake
  • Discover the dark secrets that lie inside Buckingham Palace and St James’s Palace
  • Untangle numerous tales surrounding the assault of Ernest Augustus (the Duke of Cumberland) in Friary Court
  • See Pickering Place, London’s smallest square
  • Connect the dots between Charles Dickens and the Ghost Club, the original group for research and investigations into the world of paranormal activity
  • Take in the majestic view of St James’s Park from the Blue Bridge

By the end of this 90-minute tour, you’ll not only see some of the highlights of the UK capital but also learn about the horrors that lurk in its shadows.

This London walking tour awaits... if you dare.
