On this walking tour around Valencia’s historical heart, I’ll tantalize your taste buds with insights into local cuisine, including its iconic tapas and mouth-watering paella. I’ll also reveal some of this magnificent city’s secrets, sharing stories and legends that highlight its unique and less explored dimensions.
Our tour starts at Plaça de la Reina. From there, you’ll be guided into the city center where you’ll see the iconic Valencia Cathedral, a breathtaking masterpiece of Gothic architecture. You’ll have a chance to admire the exquisite craftsmanship of La Lonja de la Seda de Valencia, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that symbolises the city’s historical importance as a trading hub. I’ll also show you its ancient city gates, the imposing Torres de Serranos, which have witnessed Valencia’s evolution over the centuries. As you step into the enchanting Ciutat Vella (the Old Town) and wander through its labyrinthine streets, I’ll show you hidden corners that hold secrets from Valencia’s past.
