A Walk in the Outer Richmond
About the Tour
This walk is the story of one woman's move to the Outer Richmond. It's a story that involves everything from private investigators to scandalous driver’s ed teachers to friendship in unlikely places.
Sarah Weidman takes you on a journey through her search for a connection to the neighborhood. The adventure begins on 36th Avenue and Balboa by a yoga studio and ends with a hat shop on 26th and Geary. It takes in all of the Outer Richmond's charm and nuance.
You'll come to feel a part of this community, as Sarah's stories bring the shops and cafes of this unique little neighborhood to life.
