War Tours Ukraine is an independent project focused on documenting and sharing the reality of modern Ukraine through responsible war tourism and historical storytelling. We organize private tours in Kyiv, the Kyiv region, and Kharkiv for international visitors who want to better understand Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, the resilience of Ukrainian society, and the impact of war on everyday life.
Our tours combine frontline history, destroyed military equipment exhibitions, memorial sites, deoccupied territories, urban exploration, and conversations about modern Ukrainian history. We work in a respectful and ethical way — avoiding sensationalism while helping visitors see the human side of the war and support local communities.
The project was founded by Ukrainians who have lived through the full-scale invasion themselves. We believe that seeing these places in person creates a deeper understanding than headlines or social media alone. Many guests describe their experience not simply as tourism, but as an important educational and emotional journey.
In addition to tours, we create articles, guides, historical content, and audio experiences for foreign audiences interested in Ukraine, military history, geopolitics, and post-war reconstruction. Safety, transparency, and authentic local perspective remain our top priorities.
