Greetings, I’m Richard Laperrière, a dedicated former law enforcement officer who proudly served with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. Currently, I fulfill the role of President and Travel Advisor for the International Police Association, Montréal Section. Throughout my rewarding career, I have had the pleasure of welcoming police professionals from around the world, along with their families and friends, providing them with guidance and support during their visits to the vibrant city of Montréal and throughout the beautiful province of Québec.

Having been stationed in Montréal, as well as various cities across the province and in northern Québec, I possess a deep, firsthand understanding of the unique regions, rich culture, and fascinating history that define this area. Proud of Québec’s traditions and committed to fostering international friendship within the policing community and the general public, I genuinely enjoy sharing my knowledge, experiences, and passion for this remarkable province with those exploring it for the very first time.
