I’m Maryanna, a curious traveler and storyteller who believes that architecture and art history reveal the most intimate truths of a city—if we know where to look. I’m fascinated by how, in an age of globalization where places risk becoming indistinguishable, a single detail like the curve of a window or the pattern of a façade can still tell a unique local story.
My work focuses on helping people “read” cities for themselves: noticing architectural styles, recognizing the influences behind them, and understanding how each historical period literally shaped the way people saw their world. I’m especially interested in giving listeners simple, accessible tools to decode what they see around them, so that walking through a street, a town, or a single building becomes a personal act of discovery rather than a passive tour.
On this route, I’ve brought together research, local insight, and translation to make these stories easy to follow and enjoyable for international audiences. My hope is that, by the end, you’ll not only remember dates and names, but also feel more confident trusting your own eye—because once you learn what to look for, every city becomes an open book.
