The Vatican Museums Audio Tour with Context: A Guide to the Treasures Within
About the Tour
The Vatican Museums house a treasure trove of art and culture spanning centuries. But the thousands of artworks within these museums’ 54 galleries and 1,400 rooms also tell a story about the popes who amassed these collections in the Catholic Church’s name, ensuring it remained a powerful institution to this day.
With centuries of history and a collection spanning miles, navigating the Vatican can feel overwhelming, but fear not!
On this Vatican Museums tour, five knowledgeable Context Travel experts will help focus your attention on the pieces that changed history. You’ll get insights about well-known landmarks and lesser-known corners of the Vatican, where tales often overlooked by visitors come to life.
As you encounter a diverse cast of characters, from renowned artists to influential pontiffs, Context Travel’s experts will shed light on their motivations and legacies.
