It all started about 30 years ago when I read all the books in the library about Wild Bill Hickok and Geronimo the Apache native. Fast forward 2009 when, inspired by pictures of its coastline, I moved to Chiloé Island in Chile. It is a magical island with dwarves, mermaids and festive boats that disappear as soon as they are soon. I put together the analytical skills I learned by studying history academically, and applied it by locking myself in the public library where all the stories can be found. I organized them into a route to make the myths digestible. Life then took me to the other, Atlantic, coast to the gem of the Silver River, Montevideo. Walking around the Old City´s Art Deco and classical buildings made me realize why Francis Ford Coppola was drawn to making movies in English about the port city on the other side of the Rio de la Plata. I set to work to tell a story about the importance of this small but international city. The ideas for more audio tours keep on coming.
