Piers Powis has grown up in the surrounding area of Bibury and is proud to call the Cotswolds his home. As a self confessed countryman, Piers has had a deep connection with this land through farming and countryside pursuits. As a gamekeeper in his 20's he stewarded some of England's finest lands.
Piers is a keen rambler and can often be found strolling the hills, fields and footpaths of his home county. He has a deep love and respect for nature combined with a passion for history and maintaining traditions. This comes across in his tours, especially if you are lucky enough to get a spot on one of his live excursions.

In early 2025, Piers noticed the influx of visitors into the already popular area and felt compelled to connect with these people in order to share in the history engrained into Bibury's beauty.
