I was born and raised in Oxford and it's a privilege to walk around the spectacular buildings and institutions of our wonderful city knowing that there will be another iconic building just around the next corner.

I have detailed knowledge and first hand experience of the streets and hidden lanes of Oxford which I've used to good effect in the two tours I've produced centred around Oxford. The first is an historic pub tour and the second is a tour related to the Philip Pulman 'His Dark Materials' series of books.

I've had many happy, and sometimes slightly drunken, evenings in all the pubs on the tour and I've created it to celebrate the historic pubs we have in the city. I'm sure you'll agree all the pubs I've included have genuine character and a story to tell.

The Lyra's Oxford tour was produced to celebrate the release of The Rose Field which is the final instalment of the 'His Dark Materials' and 'Dust' series of books. I loved reading the books with my daughter when they first came out and this tour includes all of the significant locations in Lyra Belaqua's world. The end of the tour includes a visit to Lyra and Will's bench that appears at the end of the Amber Spyglass - a must-see for any Philip Pullman fans.
