Hi, my name is Mark Dare. I am originally from London, but moved to Norfolk in 2003 where I worked as a sports coach before retiring in 2019.

I have always been a huge fan of the British Sitcom Dad's Army, and after retiring I was thrilled to have the chance to volunteer at the Dad's Army Museum in Thetford, Norfolk - where the television series was filmed between 1968 and 1977.

We run very popular guided group walking tours covering the Dad's Army filming sites in Thetford, but have always been aware that there are a lot of people who are unable to attend these tours. With the assistance of Voice Map, I have been delighted to create this audio tour that can be accessed at any time. It has been a labour of love to create this tour, and I have to mention Dad's Army Museum Manager Rod Tregale, without whose help and support this tour could not have been created.
