I grew up hiking in Colorado and developed a passion for helping others enjoy our natural beauty and history. In my teens I started climbing Colorado's "fourteeners" (mountains over 14,000 feet in elevation) and realized that I was lucky to have learned basic hiking skills over many years that others have not had the chance to learn. I started Hike for Life, a local hiking guide service in 2017 to nurture community, inspire responsible exploration and help preserve the great outdoors.

We've been providing guided hikes to guests in Garden of the Gods for more than seven years and have dozens of five-start reviews for our experiences. I found that there was more demand for our guided hikes than our team has time for so I created this garden of the gods tour to allow many more visitors to be able to experience the basics of our hikes even when we're not around.
