I'm an experienced California guide and Certified Naturalist, and have been exploring coastal, forest and mountain trails and wonders since childhood, six decades ago. Now, as a nature journalist, book author, and photographer based in Bodega Bay on the Pacific Coast, I get to share what I discover, a surprising range of amazing features, creatures and secrets that Northern California holds.
