I’ve spent nearly all my adult life in Liverpool after university, and always loved the arts and culture in the city. I’ve worked for many of its organisations, freelanced, set-up cultural events and festivals and for nearly fourteen years, I headed up the marketing team at National Museums Liverpool.

After training to become a Liverpool Blue Badge Tourist Guide, I’ve lead tours ‘Here There and Everywhere’ and specialised in Beatles and city history tours. I was brought up on my parents limited vinyl collection of mainly Beatles records. Tho’ my mum maintains she was a Stone’s fan!

I co-authored a history book with maps, entitled Liverpool A-Z Hidden Walks and continue to give tours to visitors from all over the world.

I spend a long time thinking about my tours and the words I use, to give a particular nuance to the descriptions of the places and their stories.
