Charles Usher is a Wisconsin native who spent 13 years in Seoul, where he worked as an editor at MorningCalm, Korean Air's in-flight travel magazine. He's the author of the book "Seoul Sub→urban," a collection of profiles of neighborhoods in the South Korean capital, and DK's "South Korea" guidebook. He has written for Travel+Leisure, Lonely Planet, the Guardian, and other outlets. He lives in Milwaukee with his wife and dog.
