Charles Usher is a Wisconsin native who spent 13 years in Seoul, where he worked as an editor at MorningCalm, Korean Air's in-flight travel magazine. He's the author of the book "Seoul Sub→urban," which profiles the South Korean capital's neighborhoods by subway stop, and has written for Travel+Leisure, Lonely Planet, the Guardian, and other outlets. He currently lives in Milwaukee with his wife and dog.
