Mission Accomplished: A Tour of San Francisco's Mission District
Start of route
You should be standing on the corner of Mission and 16th Streets, just outside the Bart Station. To your left is 16th Street and the black and gray California Savings Building. In front of you is the traffic of Mission Street. Behind you is the yellow and red Wells Fargo.
Let's get walking. As we go, I'll explain who I am and how this works. Turn to your right and start walking down the sidewalk of Mission Street, with the traffic on your left.
Hey. Welcome to the Mission. My name is Weimin Chen. I’m a podcaster, photographer, and blogger documenting the places I go, the people I meet, and the way we all live in this world. I lived in the Mission district when I first moved to San Francisco and I still spend the majority of my free time here. To this day, it’s one of my favorite places on Earth and I’d like to share with you my favorite spots here.
Here's how this works. VoiceMap uses your location to play commentary automatically, so you can now put your phone away and focus on your surroundings. Silence between tracks is normal, so if you don't hear from me, just keep going. If you get lost or stuck, you can look at the route map on your phone's screen.
So just keep heading this way. I'll meet you just at the end of the block.
