Welcome to Mackinac Island! I'm Mark Bearss and my wife, Mary Jane Barnwell and I met on Mackinac Island in the 1980's. We have a home here, and Mary Jane runs Island Bookstore, while I'm happily retired. We put together this tour to introduce some of the many aspects of our favorite place. Hopefully these tours will give you a greater appreciation for so many of Mackinac Island's wonderful qualities while you stretch your legs and take in its beauty.
