Yazd: A Walk through History
About the Tour
Join me on a fascinating walk through the heart of Iranian culture and history in the ancient city of Yazd. It’s been said by many globe trotters and explorers that the city has a special soul that you discover when you immerse yourself and get lost inside its lanes and monuments. Along the way, we’ll learn how the streets of Yazd have changed over the years, and about the lives and habits of the people who populate them.
You’ll be amazed to discover the this oasis situated in the central desert heart of Iran. I’ll show you the methods our ancestors used that enabled life and culture to flourish in this dry region. The nomadic people of the area say that the desert will never leave you empty handed, and my hope is that you will leave Yazd with greater appreciation and wonder.
