Stories and Secrets of Viterbo
Via San Lorenzo
Turn right and make your way along Via San Lorenzo, the street that branches off the piazza.
You're now heading into the medieval quarter.
Via San Lorenzo becomes a pedestrian street after 10am, so its easy to look up and note the plaques and inscriptions inserted on the buildings’ facades. These show who used to own the buildings and churches, some of which have been recycled and are now eateries, art galleries or bars.
