Andrew Wice is a novelist, screenwriter and audio producer. His journalism has most recently appeared in "El Palacio Magazine" and "New Mexico Magazine." Andrew Wice is also the producer of the esteemed Madrid Film Festival, which showcases the best short films made in New Mexico every year. He married his longtime girlfriend Charlie in September of 2025.

The starting point is the entrance of the Mine Shaft Tavern, located at the bend of the road in Highway 14. Look for the stone steps outside the double doors of the main bar.

This tour can be taken at any time, but most shops and galleries in town are open from 10-5 daily.
