About the Tour
Tour the inner route of the Otago Peninsula. Pass through the small communities of Macandrew Bay, Pukehiki and Waverley. Visit Sandfly Bay and view some of the Peninsula's Wildlife. Wind your way along this craggy and beautiful coast. Along the way, you'll take in old castles, isolated and windswept beaches, breathtaking views, and sleepy seaside towns. You might even cross paths with a penguin. The Otago peninsula is singular in its evocation of the raw beauty of nature. Come along and see for yourself.

Precautions
Please keep left on the road and pull over when possible to let cars pass. Please be very cautious if you decide to take the track to Boulder Beach. It is a rough track and can be very tricky to navigate. 4WD only.
Enjoyed the Tour and felt it was good value. However disappointed the Tour didn't include the whole of the peninsula and wasn't clear about this. Also, the access to Boulder Beach is little more than an overgrown goat track after you get some distance in. We have a 4WD ute and very nearly got stuck, also damaged our paintwork doing a 20 point turn to get out again. Taking this track should NOT be suggested, as people will get stuck and/or hurt 😐
Thank you for taking the tour. I have started with a very local tour but will be working on one for the whole Peninsula in the future.
