Tour Locations | On the road to Etihad: From street art to sweet treats
To your left, there's a store named Nujood Sweets.
Stop in front of it and take a quick look through the window. Its displays include an array of colourful traditional sweets from India and Pakistan.
If you have a sweet tooth, I'd recommend trying the bright orange jalebi, made with deep fried batter rolled in syrup. It’s so popular in the Middle East that it also has an Arabic name: zalabya.
Or you could try kulfi, which is the Indian subcontinent's denser, creamier answer to ice cream.
When you're ready, carry on walking straight along Al Satwa Street.
