This walk is about personal paranormal encounters and verified -- but unexplained -- happenings on our island. Together with local historians, and eyewitness accounts we will take a short walk through town to explore our haunted surroundings, and discover why there may be more dead than living on Catalina.

We have portrayed any haunting's as factually as possible, and without sensationalism. After all, why should we have to embellish a perfectly good ghost story just to be scary? What we want to do is provide you with the most authentic paranormal information, and let you draw your own conclusions.

Best time of day

Bring headphones if you can. If you don't have any you can purchase an inexpensive pair at Leo's Drug Store in downtown Avalon. Any time of day is great to walk but after dusk is recommended.

Precautions

As you listen and follow our voice be aware of your surroundings and uneven walkways. Make common sense choices as you walk and watch for bikes, other pedestrians, cars, tour buses, or any other obstructions in your way.

Avalon is immensely safe to walk around in day or night. Your biggest concern will be watching your step and for traffic.
