I’m a licensed private guide based in Budapest, working mainly with international travelers who want to understand the city beyond the main sights. I’ve been guiding privately since 2017, and I specialize in tours that combine culture, history, architecture, wine, and local gastronomy, always adapting the experience to the interests and pace of my guests.
I guide in five languages and work regularly with individual travelers, families, and small private groups. Over the years, I’ve also guided clients traveling with Uniworld Cruises and guests staying at luxury hotels such as the Four Seasons, Kempinski, and the Ritz-Carlton Budapest.
Alongside guiding, I organize wine dinners and write a wine-focused blog, which allows me to stay closely connected to Hungary’s contemporary wine scene. This work strongly influences how I approach tours, helping me connect historical context with present-day food and wine culture.
I studied in Germany, Italy, Spain, and France, and have traveled to over 40 countries. This international background strongly shapes how I work with guests from different cultures and how I place Budapest into a broader European context, rather than presenting it in isolation.
While I do cover Budapest’s major landmarks, my real focus is on the smaller, often overlooked details — hidden courtyards, side streets, cafés, and stories that rarely make it into guidebooks. I try to avoid tourist crowds whenever possible and design routes that feel relaxed and personal. I like tours to feel more like storytelling conversations than formal lectures.
