Philip Tomlinson became involved with guiding at the Wellington Botanic Garden in 1999. He has been active as a guide, as well as involved in organising the hosting and welcoming of visitors to the garden.

He's been a committee member of The Friends of the Wellington Botanic Garden since 2002 and Vice President since 2010. He also runs the Friends website.

Philip has lived in Wellington since 1968 and currently lives only a short distance from the Garden.
