Hey There!
I‘m Gregory, a chef who has been living, drinking and eating in San Sebastián for over 10 years. I lead food tours, multi-day excursions & host wine tastings and events. I am extremely passionate about my adopted home in the Basque Country and love sharing its delicious side with visitors.
I am a James Beard Foundation scholar from California, went to Le Cordon Bleu Paris and worked on organic farms all over France, Spain & the Basque Country. I originally planned to stay here for only a couple of weeks, but over a decade later, San Sebastián is now home.
The bulk of my kitchen experience took place back in the USA, but I still work as a culinary consultant and produce large scale food festivals and events. I‘m also quite active in the wine industry in both sales and production –I run a micro-winery that produces reds and rosé from Navarra and La Rioja each year.
But it‘s my love for this people and this region – the Basque Country‘s never-ending history and movable feasts. I cannot get enough! I want to share my enthusiasm and passion for this place with you and my VoiceMap audio tour provides.
