Communities in Fresno aren’t thriving due to poverty, isolation, poor education, and lack of opportunities created by historic, ingrained inequality.

Decades of poor leadership and planning have failed the kids and families of Fresno. Our children can’t read, our neighborhoods are blighted in concentrated poverty, and our leaders focus on investing in the suburbs and those with resources. The American Dream is not a reality or achievable for most of Fresno.

Every Neighborhood Partnership exists to identify and address social disparities while building on existing social capital in neighborhoods, establishing community members as decision-makers, and encouraging healthy and thriving neighborhoods that flourish.
