    This building on your left is the Pioneer Center, a large concert hall that hosts broadway plays, the Reno Philharmonic and all sorts of live performances. The Gold geodesic dome is an example of Mid-century populuxe architecture and it was opened in 1967.

    Though Reno was long known for Casino acts, and dinner revues, The Pioneer Center has become one of the main venues for touring musicals and classical music.
