    Largest and Oldest Joshua Trees

Coming up on the right shoulder of the road is an opportunity to see some of the tallest Joshua Trees as well as one of the largest. You should be coming up on the 40 foot Joshua Tree on the right. Park there. It doesn't have as many branches, but has been growing here for over 1000 years. Once parked, you can also see how massive the Joshua Tree on the other side of the road is. Joshua Trees only grow about a half inch per year, so you can calculate how ancient these specimens are!

Carry on driving straight when you're ready to move on.

Preview mode limited to first 3 locations.
