Founded in 1892 as a University of Oxford extension college, Reading gained its Royal Charter in 1926. Since then we have welcomed more than 150,000 students from 180 different countries.

We are a campus university offering on-site student accommodation on our beautiful parkland campus which has been awarded the Green Flag Award for the 13th consecutive year in 2023.
