I work in digital education publishing, and spend most of my spare time chatting about history and/or food - and aspiring to marry the two. l love old photographs, even older buildings, silly facts and Spotify playlists. My favourite kind of day is when I put on my trainers and backpack, and set off aimlessly to explore the lesser-known corners of a city.

When not in London, I can typically be spotted pacing down the hill towards the centre of Canterbury, my home town. Although I like to think I'm fairly well-travelled, I still marvel at this small city's vibrant, quirky charm and don't hesitate to inflict my own tours on unsuspecting friends.
