Parterre du Midi
You now have the South wing of the Palace on your left, and the 'Parterre du Midi' or Southern flower square on your right. Keep walking in this direction.
These gardens are sometimes called the world's largest open-air museum, with hundreds of statues. Travelers on my previous tours know that the Père Lachaise cemetery has well over a thousand sculptures under the sky. You can tell I love sculptures, and if you do too, this tour will be a treat for your eyes.
At the next corner, make a right.
