Left at Ulysse
Here on your left, you should see the statue of Ulysses, the hero of Homer's Odyssey. Take the entrance to the right of him to go in the Bosquet des Bains d'Appolon, aka the Wood of Apollo's Baths. This is the first of 14 (Get it? As in Louis XIV?) French bosquets, called 'woods' or 'groves' in English, which are each a distinctive plot close to the castle. We will visit 10 of them on this tour, and you'll have the option to see more if your feet are up for it. I'll let you know at the entrance to each one.
Hug the right as you continue to walk.
