Four busts facing inward
You are coming to an opening with four busts facing inward. Walk up to the left one at 10 o'clock.
Even though this artist's rendition isn't so muscular, the club in the man's left hand is a dead giveaway that this is Hercules. This is one of at least 7 representations of Hercules in these gardens. Kings throughout time have propped up Hercules to represent their power, courage and sexual prowess, and Louis XIV is no exception. Looking closely at the symbols in the sculptures helps identify each character.
Leave Herc on your left and keep walking diagonally in the same direction.
