Alexandre le Grand and another statue
The first bust you see here is Alexander the Great, who the Sun King admired. Check out the minute detail of the army on his breastplate.
While Louis XIV was not an expansionist ruler like Alexander, France was at war for all but 8 years of his reign. When he wasn't using his armies to do battle, he requisitioned upwards of 30000 troops to build Versailles and the associated water displacement works in a never-ending quest to keep his beloved fountains going.
The last bust on the left, looking over his right shoulder doesn't have his usual lyre or bow and arrow to identify him, so I'll just tell you; This is another Apollo.
When you're done, continue walking straight.
