Tour Locations | Unholy Toledo Tour: Gambling and Gangsters in the Glass City
Welcome to Point Place, a peninsula located between where the Maumee River and the Ottawa River flow into Maumee Bay. In the early 1930s, Point Place was less a Toledo suburb and more of a summer get-away resort sprinked with cottages and marinas. It would not be annexed into the city of Toledo until 1937 so this little village had its own vibe during the unholy Toledo era.
Keep going straight.
