Tour Locations | The Electrifying Story of Gan HaHashmal and Its Architecture
Stop here next to the large stone coloured building on your left. This is the Abraham Hostel and it's the final stop of our tour.
This building used to be a telephone exchange center and was converted in recent years to a backpackers' hostel.
If you like, you can enter the building and go upstairs to the first floor, where you'll find the Hostel's unique dining room. You can also go up to the Hostel's roof, and finish the tour with an overview of the light-rail work site and the amazing skyline of Tel-Aviv.
To keep exploring Tel Aviv, I suggest to continue towards Rothschild boulevard. When you reach the Boulevard you can turn right for a more relaxed urban nature experience, or turn left to find a variety of restaurants and cafés.
Thanks for joining me on this tour today. I hope you are as thrilled with the stories Tel Aviv has to offer as I am. This tour is especially exciting because of how unique Gan HaHashmal is, kind of an urban deserted island in the middle of the city. Ever in transformation, we visited the luxury neighborhood that turned into a slum and now is in the process of reinventing itself. Truly amazing. And with that, I hope you'll get the most out of your visit to Tel Aviv!
