William Shakespeare Statue
You should be standing beside the William Shakespeare statue. The inscription honours Henry Condell and John Heminges, who produced the First Folio of William Shakespeare's plays. Condell and Heminges lived in the St. Mary Aldermanbury parish and were buried in its churchyard. Without them, Shakespeare's works might well have been forgotten.
Look at the direction that the bust of Shakespeare is facing. He's looking out of the park and straight down the street. When you're done here, exit the park and walk around into that street. It's called Aldermanbury. I'll meet you a little down that way.
