Here begins 1698 Part Two, by May Sumbwanyambe…
If you haven’t listened to Part One yet, we recommend you head to the Customs House on St George’s Quay before going any further.
Now turn around and walk straight back to the top of Long Marsh Lane by the Castle. At the Castle and Priory Precinct sign take a sharp right and walk down West Road. Just before the bridge over the station platforms, turn left into the private car park and look out over the station.
Now, head for the Quaker Meeting House. Come out of the car park and take the alleyway through the black gate on your left to cut through past the station.
Passing the station entrance on your right carry on to the junction with Meeting House Lane and it’s the first house immediately on your left. Go through the gate and into the grounds.
