Made in Dundee
Keiler's Shopping Centre
This marks where the Keiler factory stood until the 1970s. This brings us to the first J – jam. Or rather – marmalade. Dundee can claim to be the home of commercial marmalade. It was made by Keilers, a local grocer, from the late 1700s. Up until the 1880s, this local firm was the largest confectionary manufacturer in Britain.
