    Satwa Street Life

Turn left here, off of Satwa Road. You’ll need to go over the pedestrian island and onto 7D Street.

We're taking a short detour through the neighbourhood's more residential backroads.

Satwa is a neighbourhood characterised by its street-level hustle and bustle, and this is what makes it such a perfect spot to get to know Dubai on foot.

In the evening, it’s common to find groups of people on sidewalk benches catching up over a cup of karak, socialising in barbershops, or eating shawarma from a street-side vendor. You can even park up at the side of the road and get your car rims upgraded or windows tinted.

Because so much of Dubai’s public life takes place in shopping malls and other purpose-built commercial districts, walking the streets of Satwa offers a different kind of experience to the Dubai you may be used to, or expecting.

    Keep going straight.
