Baz'Art Salt River Street Art Tour
Melted Ice by Martin Lund
On the left side of the Sisco building, we come across work by Martin Lund better known as Marti. Stay here while I tell you about it.
His piece is all water. The ocean reflects in the foreground. A massive crystalline ice block also reflects. The ice block itself is painted with wheat paste and has essentially 'melted away' as the rain and the wind batter the wall over time. The background is the powerful cloud of a hydrogen bomb or a sunset cloudscape.
Now make your over to the next work a little further along this road towards the mountain.
