    Planetario de Bogotá

    Continue walking along the this road, the Carrera 7, keeping the mountains on your right.

    The building through the trees on your right is the Planetario de Bogotá, the planetarium. It kind of resembles a flying saucer. It was inaugurated in 1969. Besides being a regular planetarium, it also houses a concert hall that puts on performances of Colombian music. You'll also find a cybercafé thats a good place to enjoy a coffee or snack.
    The planetarium is open Tuesday to Sunday from 10:30 AM to 4 pm.

    The white stone building is the Iglesia de San Diego. It houses beautiful religious art from colonial times.

    On the other side of the building you can find a very prestigious Colombian cuisine restaurant called Casa Vieja, which means Old House. They serve the typical dish of Bogotá, the Ajiaco. Its a combination of different potatoes and chicken. Its mixed with guasca, a herb that gives a distinctive flavor to the dish. Its also served with cream and capers.

    Keep walking straight. You're now entering the area known as Centro Internacional.
