Lampasas Walks: Historic Downtown Lampasas
Huling House 204 S. Main Street
Stop here. On the left, the charming little blue house is Huling House.
This house belonged to William Neyland Huling and his wife Sadie. It is one of the oldest lumber houses in Lampasas, having been built in 1873. The roof line is original and inside it has some colonial architectural features such as chair and plate rails. William and his brother John owned a grocery store in town.
Turn back toward 2nd Street and continue on Main. We're going to cross over 2nd and continue straight.
I'll meet you a few blocks down.
