To the Vondel CS and Joost van den Vondel statue

    Pay wave

Turn right here, and follow the path towards the big historic building on your right. This building is called Vondel CS.

Look at your left and you will see a few hundreds of meters away the imposing 3 meters high bronze monument of the Dutch poet Vondel from 1867.
Depending on the season, it might be a bit hard to see the statue of Vondel, but if you look through the trees then I’m sure you will catch a glimpse of it.

When you walk towards the Vondel CS, you might meet some of the rollerbladers who gather here to practice tricks, which is fun to see.

Keep walking. You'll hear from me again when you reach the building.
