    No. 80 Bellamystraat

    Pay wave

    Keep going straight.

The house on your left with the green door and red tiled roof is No. 80 Bellamystraat. This is the oldest house on the street. It was built in the period between 1723 to 1730. It was a free-standing house until 1876. Nowadays it's an official monument.

I always use this street when I go around on my bike and at all times I avoid those busy streets with lots and lots of traffic. You've now probably experienced yourself how dangerous the Amsterdam traffic can be. The local Amsterdammer on a bike is the most dangerous species. That's why I rather pass through those desolate alleys.

    Continue walking.
