MEET THE STORYTELLER
Mitch Lapin

With my background in education and paralegal certifications, I work as a historical tour guide specializing in Boston, MIT, Harvard, and The Battle Road from Lexington to Concord. I transcribe historical documents online as a volunteer for the United States National Archives. Through the Find A Grave Foundation, I offer my services as a volunteer photographer to genealogists and family members. My genealogical research dates back to 1630, the start of the Great Migration.

The town of Lexington, Massachusetts, employs me as a tour-guide working the Battle Road to Concord and back.

After five decades in Massachusetts, my accent gives away a clue to my roots.I lived in Philadelphia for my first twenty-five years. We accent the last syllable, even if the emphasis is not needed.

May I guide you on one of my three tours? The Freedom Trail of historic Boston or the critical contribution to the Civil War or the 18 riotous months that lead to the Boston Massacre? Or all three tours? We will emphasize John Hancock, Sam Adams, and the fourteen unique endeavors of Paul Revere, the individuals that gave their lives to save the Union and the individuals that contributed to the “Riot on King Street,” better known as the Boston Massacre.

We look forward to hearing from you or answering questions through our website or [email protected].
